Fire / EMS Stations
Hancock County Ambulance Covers the entire county with stations located in Weirton, New Cumberland and Chester. Hancock EMS use push to talk cell phone for EMS communications but use Futronics for 911 to Ambulance service for tone out from the 911 center for EMS calls.

Weirton Fire Department
Station 1 (Municipal Plaza/District 1) - Apparatus: Engine 3, Tower 1, Squad 1, Squad 5, Boat 9 Station 2 (Marland Heights/Volunteer) - Apparatus: Engine 21 (will be re designated Engine 8 in the near future) , Squad 7 Station 3 (Gilson Ave/District 2) - Apparatus: Engine 4, Ladder 2, Squad 2 Station 4 (North End/training) - Apparatus: Engine 2, Command, Fire Safety Trailer
Sheriff and Police Departments
Hancock County Sheriff Department (unit numbers 101-128). The county presently has 24 full-time deputies.
Chester Police Department (300 unit numbering). Full-time department covering the city of Chester.
New Cumberland Police Department (200 unit numbering). Part-time police department for the city of New Cumberland.
Weirton Police Department (1-42 unit numbering). Full-time department covering the city of Weirton.
